Apex is one of the three Mini-Runner factions introduced the Data and Destiny deluxe box. Each runner mini-faction has only one Identity in it, and represents a runner with an unusual motivation to run, outside of the regular Anarch, Criminal and Shaper motivations. Apex cards have a red palette for their card templating.
Apex is a mysterious digital entity of unknown origin. What is known is that it is a malevolent and destructive force, which seeks to devour data and destroy seemingly indiscriminately, showcased best by its signature card, Apocalypse.
