The Android: Netrunner Core Set features 252 cards, including seven unique identity cards.
The Core Set is the starter collection of cards for Android: Netrunner. It includes enough cards to build one Corporation deck and one Runner deck at a time, allowing two players to play the game out of the box. The neutral cards are shared between the factions, allowing one standard deck to be made from each of the factions simply by combining all of the cards in the box from a faction with all of the neutral cards for that side in the box.
Unlike Data Packs, the Core Set does not come with a full play set of all of the cards in order to make sure the deck building remains as simple as above. This means that there are some singletons and doubletons in the set. Some players buy or split with a friend more than one Core Set to have more copies of these cards and to be able to have more than one deck for each side built at a time.
The Core Set also comes with a Core Rule Book and a set of tokens.

In a world where corporations can scan the human mind and interface it directly with electronic data, more data moves every second than was ever processed in the first five-thousand years of written language. The network is omnipresent, the crux of modern human civilization, and while visionary corporations seek to secure their most valuable data on the network, the elite hackers known as netrunners seek to steal it.
