Film Critic is a card that was highly anticipated leading up to its release in Old Hollywood. It was rumored to "hose agendas" by doing two things, both of which ended up being true:
- Host an agenda on access, thus preventing "when accessed" effects like Fetal AI and sensies
- Add a hosted agenda to the Runner's score area, thus keeping the Runner safe from cards like NAPD Contract, Midseason Replacements, and Punitive Counterstrike
